Hi, Since I last restarted I can't get past the blue screen of death. I bought this laptop from a friend. I need my product key to get out of this, yes? Please help.
Thanks! Nick

The Windows product key is encrypted in your PC's BIOS and is not needed to reinstall W11.
Your notebook should be supported by the HP cloud recovery tool which you can use to create a bootable USB recovery drive that will factory reset the drive to its 'out of the box' condition.
Here is an info link for how to use the utility. You will need a 32 GB USB flash drive for this.
HP Consumer PCs - Using the HP Cloud Recovery Tool in Windows 11 and 10 | HP® Support
You can download the software from the Microsoft store:
HP Cloud Recovery Tool - Free download and install on Windows | Microsoft Store
Since you have to use the software on another Windows PC as yours is not working, you will need to enter your notebook's product number in the tool's search window in order to proceed.
The 4R5T4AV product number you posted is for the general model series which has several individual product numbers under the main one.
You need to enter the product number for your specific model notebook followed by #ABA.

Hey thanks so much! Also, I cracked my touchscreen but it still works just with no touch capabilities. I think thats why it wont restart but it was working fine for a couple of weeks with the crack until I tried to restart with updates. I want to try what you said but where do I get the product number for my particular HP laptop? At HP Partsurfer?
Thanks!

You're very welcome, Nick.
You do not need the Windows product key to use the cloud recovery tool or to clean install Windows with the Microsoft media creation tool.
If you have your notebook's serial number you can enter it in the HP PartSurfer search window at the link below and it will provide the product number of your notebook.

You're very welcome, Nick:
Yes, you should be good to go.
When you enter the 60V06UA#ABA product number in the HP cloud recovery tool database at the link below, it indicates the PC is supported by the recovery software.
