I have an HP Pavillion 17. Shut it down and now it has a bios error.  Model is 17g121wm.

If your PC has an ACPI BIOS error, updating the BIOS will probably not fix that problem.

 

Enter BIOS and set TPM status to Disabled or Hidden. Save and reboot.

 

Error should be gone.

Hey Paul! Thank you so much! She is back on and working.   I tried the TPM first and did not remember seeing the "Hidden" option but I did disable it. Did not work. Then I created the bios recovery and it still did not work but then went back to TPM and found the hidden option. So your comment about it being the TPM was correct all along. Thank you so much again! You are a genius!
