I need to access the BIOS to enable virtualization so that a program in Kaspersky Internet Security (Safe Money) will running SECURELY and properly. This function worked fine until I upgraded to Windows 10. Windows 10 CHANGED the setting on the BIOS. Yes, I said it because I believe it. Safe Money worked just fine until I upgraded to Windows 10.
If I had access to the BIOS, would I be asking this question?? I have already asked Kaspersky and they are telling me they can't do anything to help me. In other words, they are stumped, too. I have been looking high and low all over the internet for a solution and any that I have gotten do not work. Not even here OR Mocrosft. Soooo, here I am.
BTW, I am aware of others who, for various reasons, are trying to access the BIOS in order to correct problems caused by upgrading to Windows 10.

To Access BIOS you need to Press F10 Button when you power up the PC.
You can also Halt the PC from booting to windows by pressing ESC button and then Select F10 option to go into the BIOS.

I doubt Window 10 can change your BIOS-that would be news to me.

BTW, Millions of folks have gone back from Win10 to their prior O/S -- something you don't hear about from MS. by WAWood but ALL to TRUE
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Those that want HD Gaming should plan to invest in a Gaming Laptop to handle those requirements. Eamples GTA V or Crysis 3.

Hi Andi!!
When you restart or power up your laptop, when you see the HP Logo screen, hit ESC Immediately!! This will take you to a screen with various options. Hit F10 (leisurely, I might add) and you will have access to the BIOS. Find what you need and make the changes.
I must caution you...BE CAREFUL!!! If all you need to do is enable virtualization, do that. Don't forget to hit Save (bottom right of screen) and your laptop will continue booting up WITH the change in place.
