Try these steps:
Using HP Recovery Manager:
- If your laptop came with HP Recovery Manager:
- Turn off your laptop, and then turn it on while pressing F11 repeatedly until the Recovery Manager screen appears.
- Follow the prompts to restore your system to factory settings. This will reinstall the OS that originally came with your laptop.
Creating a Bootable USB Drive:
- If you have a Windows OS license, you can use another computer to download the Windows ISO file from the Microsoft website and create a bootable USB drive using the Media Creation Tool.
- Insert the bootable USB into your HP laptop. Power it on and press ESC or F9 to access the boot menu.
- Select the USB drive and follow the on-screen instructions to install Windows.
Using HP Support Assistance:
- If you’ve backed up your recovery partition or use HP’s Cloud Recovery:
- Download the HP Cloud Recovery Tool from the HP website.
- Create a recovery USB drive by following the tool’s instructions.
- Use this USB to boot your laptop and follow the recovery process.
