Hi @Kortny, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding password reset!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

There is no master code to bypass or reset a password on an HP Spectre x360 - 13-ac033dx. However, here are the options to reset your password depending on the situation:

Microsoft Account Password Reset (If using a Microsoft Account)

  1. Go to another device and visit: Microsoft Account Recovery
  2. Enter your Microsoft email and follow the prompts to reset the password.
  3. Use the new password to log in.

Local Account Password Reset (If Using a Local Account)

If your laptop does not use a Microsoft account:

  1. Restart your laptop and hold Shift while clicking Restart from the login screen.
  2. Select TroubleshootAdvanced optionsCommand Prompt.
  3. Type the following command
    net user <your_username> newpassword
and press Enter:(Replace <your_username> with your actual account name and newpassword with a new password.)
  4. Close the window and restart your laptop.

Reset Windows If You Cannot Recover the Password

Warning: This will erase all your files if you don't have a backup.

  1. Restart the laptop and hold Shift while clicking Restart.
  2. Select TroubleshootReset this PC.
  3. Choose Remove everything (for a full reset).

If you're locked out due to BIOS password, you’ll need to contact HP Support to get a BIOS reset code. Let me know if you need further guidance! 😊
