Product: Pavilion 17-AR050WM
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Ok so my buddies hard failed completely so I was unable to restore anything.  I have tried to contact support, the must be closed as I keep getting sent here. Just wondering if HP will give me a copy of Windows? How do I get it from them? Pavilion 17-AR050WM GREY Laptop.

Hard drive is installed as well as 8gh of Ram.  Thank you everyone

You have 2 options

 

   1. Please use Cloud Recovery tool

            https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c06162205

   2. Or use the following tool

           https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10

Machine will activate Windows 10 when you come online using its product key which is embedded in BIOS of your machine.

Thank you for your prompt response.  However.  I am contacting you from my cell phone.  The laptop’s hard drive completely failed and I couldn’t even open it in safe mode.  I now have a new drive in it and no other computer here.  Can I access bios and have it boot from there since I have no way of downloading anything unless it’s with my cell phone.  

please let me know, and thank you again for your help
