Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Help 😞 Just purchased this new laptop yesterday and its given me trouble since the setup. Basically, I can't do much of anything. Can't scan for Windows 10 update (gives me an error message). I can't download Google Chrome (even after changing the settings to accept non-Microsoft downloads). I can't disable SoftThinks Drive (which is constantly full). And I cant even reset laptop to original settings. Not sure what to do, besides running this laptop over with the car. If anyone has a clue, I'd very much appreciate your wisdom 🙂

@Noli2020 You may want to check which version of windows you've got, from the looks of it, you may have the Windows 10 S, that would explain why you can't download anything, because it wouldn't allow you to, here's all you need to know about it:

 

Windows 10 in S mode is a specific configuration of Windows 10 Pro designed for added security and performance. Windows 10 in S mode uses Microsoft Edge as its browser and uses apps from the Windows Store only to enhance performance and security.

If you wish to exit the S mode or that's not what you have, please send me the version of your windows,

and any error messages that you may have, so we can work on a solution.

Thanks, I had already checked for that. I have Windows 10 Home.  I'm taking it back tomorrow because it seems this laptop had been purchased before, then returned. Something is severely corrupted in the system...even Tech support was at a loss. I can't download a single thing...Microsoft or not 😕  I appreciate your input though 🙂
