Hi
I appreciate that you mentioned that the recovery partition has the OS files that can be used to recover or repair my computer.
The thing is that nothing in there helped me to repair my laptop when there was a glitch and I don't think the reinstallation of Windows 10 used that partition.
So I'm trying to figure out if I actually need that recovery drive if I know have Windows 10 on the USB stick that the computer store provided.
Is that partition absolutely necessary?

Thanks for the reply, if the recovery partition was corrupted then you would not be able to use it.
As you have the recovery kit on a USB stick, please keep it safely for future use and do not worry about the recovery partition.
