If you're seeing a "No bootable device" error after installing Kali Linux on your HP laptop that originally had Windows 11, it usually means the system can't find a valid operating system to boot from. Support on Linux is limited; you can try the below steps.
1. Enter BIOS/UEFI Settings
- Turn off your laptop.
- Power it on and immediately press Esc repeatedly, then press F10 to enter BIOS Setup.
- Go to the Boot Options tab.
2. Check Boot Mode
- Make sure UEFI Boot Mode is enabled (unless you installed Kali in Legacy mode).
- Disable Secure Boot (Kali Linux does not support Secure Boot by default).
- Ensure the internal hard drive is listed in the boot order.
3. Use Kali Installer to Repair Bootloader:
