I have no mouse, no keyboard, and no touchscreen. The software works because the time changes. The keyboard and mouse work when using HP PC Hardware Diagnostics UEFI. It will not work when I exit the Diagnostics. Help!

I would like to add that since the keyboard doesn't work, I cannot log into the computer. It boots up normally, but I have no keyboard, mouse, and the touchscreen doesn't work, but the screen itself lights up.

I will say, the laptop sat unused for five months. I charged up the battery and it started to update the software but something happened, the computer just froze. After waiting for it to unfreeze (it didn't), I forced the computer to shutdown. When I turned it back on,  the keyboard, mouse, and touchscreen stopped working.

The laptop just turned three years old and has essentially become useless. Please help!
