HP 15-f233wm Notebook
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

No restart after upgrading to 8GB. Put the original 4GB back and in BIOS changed legacy boot to enable and secure boot to disable , changes were accepted .

Put 8GB DDR3L  1600 from Samsung back, still no restart .

Somebody has experienced this problem?

Welcome to HP Support Community

I suggest you put back the 4 GB Ram and go to BIOS to Restore the BIOS back to Defaults. Then try the new 8 GB Ram.

If the issue persists, try updating the BIOS first then install the 8 GB Ram.

Here is a List of Rams and their Spare Part No. that have been Tested with the Notebook
