HP ENVY TS 15 Notebook PC

I'm not really sure if it fits in this subject but for certain reasons I want to reset my HP notebook but I'm not sure if it will need an installation chip or something since I brought it off eBay and I just have no clue.

By the way my HP notebook is the HP ENVY TS 15 Notebook PC.

Hi,

 

If the partition is still present then you can try performing a recovery by tapping F11 as soon as you turn it on. You'll find the related documents on the right of this screen..or follow this:

 

HP PCs - Performing an HP System Recovery (Windows 10)

 

If partition is not present or corrupted then you may need the recovery media which you can order online or from tech support. Before that try these steps as well:

Umm thanks but I already started the reset so will I need the media? My laptop does not have a disc thingy so would it be a chip?
