I thought that the charger wasn’t working but when I bought a new one, the charging light still didn’t come on and it won’t start up at all.

Hi Haileecederquis,

See if this works:

  1. Remove the laptop battery
  2. Hold down the power button for at least 30 seconds
  3. Reinsert the battery
  4. Plug in the AC adapter
  5. Try turning on the laptop

If it doesn't work, try holding down the power button for a longer period of time or running only on AC power instead of reinserting the battery.

Hope this helps,
