undefinedI have run all diagnostic tools available on Hirens and on my hp diags. test. All come back healthy. I have the boot order set to disc in the bios and when I insert thehp WIN 7 recovery disc to re-install the system that came with this computer this is where it stops Any HELP would be greatly appreciated.

That's looks nasty there's something wrong with recovery disk do you have sata to USB if you do clone your other hard all the partitions then use the recovery disk.

I reinstalled the old hard drive and ran the recovery option through HP got the old hard drive to load windows and I am in the process of making a system image and backing it onto my external hard drive. I am going to reinstall the new hard drive when this finishes and try to do a system recocovery from this. Got my fingers crossed.

Awesome also you can do a sysprep image too however OEM key will work on stock configuration if you change anything out of the system the key will not work if it does then I'm wrong 😉
