My sons lap top hard drive became frozen and I replaced the hard drive, but I dont have windows 8 the correct operating system for his lap top and need help on how I could get it back installed. I am using a temp windows 8 from Microsoft but it is asking to replace it. How can I resolve this without buying it? Is there a way how to best resolve this issue?
Thank you......

What is the complete product name or product number of the notebook?
Take a look at the following HP document.

HP Pavilion g7 notebook is too generic. It is the model series, not the specific notebook.
You will need the complete product name or product number to purchase a recovery flash drive from Computersurgeons.com.
HP no longer sells nor stocks the recovery media for the notebook.
The cost for the recovery media at Computersurgeons.com is quite low.
