Product: HP Pavilion 14 Notebook
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 8.1 (64-bit)

I just opened the laptop for the first time in months and I tried to install some stuff like Microsoft Visual C++, Direct X and Nvidia Geforce Experience but they all ended up as failing. I Tried to install them to play steam games which needed some extra dlls.

These sound all like MS system software items -- and we here certainly have no way to diagnose or fix issues with those.  Only MS has that kind of information -- so you would have to contact them for assistance.  But realize that they no longer actively support Windows 8x, so they will likely provide little or no assistance.
