Hi:

Your notebook's processor does not meet Microsoft's minimum W11 processor requirements of an Intel 8th generation core or newer processor.

If you are interested in installing W11 on your PC as is, you can read this discussion for how I upgraded several HP and Dell notebook and desktop PC's that did not meet the W11 hardware requirements to W11 22H2.

You have to use the version of the Rufus utility that I zipped up and attached in the discussion (v3.18).

If the in-place upgrade fails, you should be able to clean install W11 using the bootable W11 installation flash drive you made with Rufus.

Hi,

I installed windows 11 as per your instructions and it is working now.

I'll give updates after 15 days. Sorry for the late reply.

Thanks

Hi,

I installed windows 11 64 bits as per your instructions. But what about drivers?

Where to found drivers for win 11 64 bits OS?

Thanks.

Hi:

There aren't any.

W11 should have installed all of the drivers your notebook needs.

If it is missing any, first go to the Windows update app and then scroll down to the Advanced Options section.

Under the Additional Options section see if there are any optional updates pending to install.

That is where W11 has many driver updates you can install.

If that section has no pending drivers to install, and you need to install drivers, try the W10 drivers from your notebook's support page which should work.

Hi,

Thank you for your quick response. Anyway win 11 is working very well for me.

You're very welcome.

That is good news.

There is only one unsupported W11 PC that I have out of the 13 I upgraded to W11 that I had to reinstall W10 on due to a graphics driver problem that I could not resolve.

I just referenced that problem in this discussion:

Re: T630 Thin Client Graphics and Firmware Issues - HP Support Community - 9026132

I don't care that much because HP Thin Client PC's are not designed to run a 'normal' version of Windows.

The thing runs pretty slow on W10 and W11 even when all the drivers were fine.

I got the PC brand new with all the accessories for $65 bucks and it was just an experiment I wanted to try.
