Product: Hp mini 1000

Power on laptop and almost instantly get a enter password screen ...

Then after 3 attempts I get password check failed fatal error.... System halted.

Hi:

 

Restart the PC, and see if entering this unlock passcode works for you...

Having to use a USB keyboard bc laptop one isn't working and after code is typed I hit enter and nothing happens

Sorry that code didn't work for you.

 

In that case, no one on this forum will be able to help you get past the system halted error.
