Pavilion 15 - Unknown PCI Device

Hello,

I have an unknown PCI Device showing up under Device Manager after a fresh Windows install (21H1 - Build 19043)

Device ID -

PCI\VEN_1AEA&DEV_6625&SUBSYS_8478103C&REV_00

Can anyone help?
I googled it and searches showed "Alcorlink PCIE Card Reader" but the Alcorlink Card reader drivers on the website won't install. Says they aren't meant for my version of windows build.

Hi:

For the card reader, try manually installing the driver.

Go to the device manager.   Click on the  PCI\VEN_1AEA&DEV_6625 device needing the driver.

Click on the driver tab.  Click on Update driver.

Select the Browse my computer for drivers option, and browse to the driver location of the file you ran.

That folder will be located in C:\SWSetup\sp96445.

Make sure the Include subfolders box is checked and see if the driver installs that way.

I forgot one could do that..
I just used Install1.cmd instead of Install.cmd file in the C:\SWSetup\sp96445. Ran it from a admin privileged CMD
It bypassed the OS version check. Had to look into the files to see the script.

One can also I guess just right click on the Install1.cmd script and "Run as administrator"
