Hi:
Looking at the specs for your notebook, a Crucial NVMe SSD should have worked.
HP Pavilion x360 Convertible 14-dw1012nl Product Specifications | HP® Customer Support
The NVMe SSD's don't always show up in the BIOS but see if you can use the HP cloud recovery tool to reinstall W10.
Use the HP cloud recovery tool to create a bootable USB recovery drive that will reinstall W10, the drivers and the software that originally came with your notebook.
Here is an info link for how to use the utility. You will need a 32 GB USB flash drive.
HP Consumer PCs - Using the HP Cloud Recovery Tool in Windows 11 and 10 | HP® Customer Support
Since you have to use the tool on another PC to create the installation media, you will need to enter your PC's product number in the tool's search window to create the recovery media.
Your PC's product number is: 2W1L1EA#ABZ
The reason W10 can't find any drives to install on is because your notebook has a Tiger Lake processor and a special storage controller is needed to install Windows.
The cloud recovery tool media should have this driver included, but if you want to clean install W10/W11, see this discussion:
