Hi:

The only place I know of where you can order recovery media for your model, would be from HP's e-Partner at the link below.

https://www.best2serve.com/en-gb/page/rcd_hardware_related_products/?product_type_id=4&hardware_prod...

You can also make your own plain W8.1 installation media as follows...

Install W8.1 by creating the Microsoft installation media, using another Windows PC, if yours is not working...You want W8.1 64 bit

If you live in an EU country, you will probably need to download the W8.1 N 64 bit ISO file.

https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows8ISO

Only if you are asked to enter a product key during the installation process, use this generic key.

This is the generic key for W8.1 'standard.'

 334NH-RXG76-64THK-C7CKG-D3VPT

Here is the generic key for W8.1N 'standard.'

6NPQ8-PK64X-W4WMM-MF84V-RGB89

If you had to enter the generic key, manually change the generic product key to the W8.1 'standard' key in your PC's BIOS in the PC settings menu.

After you get W8.1 installed, and you had to manually enter the W8.1 generic product key, you will need to run the free utility I zipped up and attached below, that will show you show the W8.1 product key in your PC's BIOS.

I have also zipped up and attached below, the Microsoft tool which hopefully will transfer the ISO file to a DVD or usb flash drive so it is bootable.

Then you can install the available drivers and software from your PC's support page.

Thanks for your reply, my computer got frozen and I have lost all my partions, I have got a windows 8 but it's not stable, it has many bugs, I'm not able to update and it's running slow.

Maybe someone with a laptop like the one described above I'll help me out  I see the price for a recovery CD it's arout 35£  It's nothing but I have to wait 10 days and I was curious if some1 I'll help me out sooner

Thanks 1nce again for your reply.

You're very welcome.

Your notebook came with HP with W8.1, so if you follow the instructions I posted to make your own W8.1 installation media, your notebook should run just fine afterward and you will save a lot of money in the process.
