I accidentally bought a hp instant ink cartridge and installed it. Once I realized it would not print installed another regular genuine hp ink cartridge. Once that issue was fixed the printer would not print and an error message would occur. virtual assistant recommended I do factory reset. That reset did not work and now the printer will not print and will not allow another factory reset. Error message on hp smart app is Error Code: UA_400_EB000U0410. Will not print. New-ish computer purchased new in 2022.

Hi @evaz123456,
Welcome to the HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.
We understand you are experiencing issues with your HP OfficeJet Pro 9025e All-in-One Printer after unintentionally installing an HP Instant Ink cartridge and are now unable to print even after switching to regular, genuine HP cartridges. You’ve also attempted a factory reset without success, and you're seeing the error code UA_400_EB000U0410 in the HP Smart app.
We’re here to help resolve this for you.
1. Ensure All Instant Ink Cartridges Are Removed
- Remove all ink cartridges from the printer.
- Do not reinsert any Instant Ink cartridges, even temporarily.
2. Install Genuine, Non-Instant Ink HP Cartridges
- Install a full set of standard HP original cartridges (not Instant Ink).
- Make sure all cartridges are correctly seated and snapped into place.
3. Perform a Network and Printer Reset
- Disconnect the printer from Wi-Fi:
- On the printer screen, go to Settings > Network > Wireless Settings > Disable Wireless.
- Power off the printer.
- Unplug the power cord for 2 minutes.
- Plug the power back in and power on the device.
4. Reconnect to Wi-Fi
- Re-enable wireless on the printer and reconnect to your home network.
- You may use the HP Smart app to assist in re-adding the printer.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
