So far there has been no permanent resolution, I am still getting calls about new x360 PCs coming out of the box and their hard drives filling up with the Qualcomm Logs.
Has there been a resolution attempted? Why is the software installed in PCs that don't have SIM cards, or why is it activated if not in use?
If you are experiencing this issue launch Task Manager and under the Startup tab disable SIMservice.exe. Then you will be able to go to the file in the title and delete the SVC Log. I have seen that log file as large as 120 GBytes.
