HP Recommended

If the drive is encrypted, you will need to install a new drive if you don't have the bitlocker key or can retrieve it from your Microsoft account.

 

Think of it like a gun barrel being spiked.  It's useless unless you replace the barrel.

 

There are some folks out there that have videos for how to install Windows on a bitlocker encrypted drive, but I have no idea how effective they are.
