Hi
Randomly, sometimes not for a long period, both during intensive tasks and directly after bootup, the sreen will go black and the laptop becomes unresponsive. (Not sure if this is the right place as not sure the source of the issue)
Microsoft WIndows 10 Pro 10.0.18363 Build 18363
Hp zBook 15v G5 Mobile Workstation
Product Number 2ZC57EA#ABU
This has been happening since I first received the laptop a few months ago, but I save regularly and the reboot after restarting (by pressing and holding power button) is fast enough that I've just put up with the issue as I had work I needed to get done and the laptop had already been delayed (2 months, maybe it was sat on a pallet too long somewhere?).
When the screen goes black the power light and fans remain on, pressing ctrl shift win key B does not produce a beep or affect the screen, so it isn't just an issue with the screen. As it sometimes occurs near to bootup, or whilst browsing the internet, I do not think it is a heat issue. As it has been happening since I first received the laptop I do not think it is an issue with running a specific software or a peripheral. Updating drivers and Windows has no effect. The Hp hardware and software checks come back fine.
Many Thanks for any help
Windows Reliability shows a "Hardware Error" reproduced below (followed by a windows was not properly shut down error on the restart)
EDIT: I've since discovered that ctrl shift win B will show up as that in reliability, so this most likley is not the correct error.

The most recent graphics card driver update seems to have fixed the problem.
In case google sends people here and they haven't tried this fix, Nvidia's updates can be found here: https://www.nvidia.co.uk/Download/index.aspx.
Bit disapointed by the lack of responses, the support assistant recommended this as the proper way to get help on my in-warranty, expensive, workstation laptop.
