I have HP DV8 LAPTOP bought in 2010 window 7 upgraded window 10. TRYING TO UPDATE WINDOW 10 and cannot do it.

having problem with BIOS -HP.

any help you can provide , would appreciate . please respond to [Personal Information Removed]

Some of the really new versions of Win10 demand new BIOS versions -- and the problem with your model is that there is no BIOS update that will work.  Your PC came with Win7 so the only BIOS updates that HP provided will work only under Win7.  In addition, HP is not updating BIOS for the older Win7 PCs, so there is not going to be any newer BIOS update that works under Win10.
