Hi:

You need this driver for the PCI Encryption/Decryption Controller.

This package provides the Intel Trusted Execution Engine Interface (TXE) Driver for the supported notebook models running a supported operating system. The Intel Trusted Execution Engine Interface enables the Secure Boot and provides services required for platform security features such as Intel Platform Trust Technology (Intel PPT).

http://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp72001-72500/sp72199.exe

For the missing DVD drive, the only suggestion I can offer, would be to go through the suggested methods to fix that problem at the link below...

You're very welcome.

That is the driver you need, but I am not sure why it didn't install.

Try manually installing the device as follows...

Go to the device manager, click on the PCI E/D Controller needing the driver.

Click on the driver tab.  Click on Update Driver.

Select the Browse my computer for driver software option, and browse to the driver folder that was created when you ran the file.

That folder will be located in C:\SWSetup\sp72199.

Make sure the Include Subfolders box is checked and see if the driver installs that way.

Then restart the PC.

Here is a partial copy and paste of the driver setup information file which shows driver support for the hardware ID listed in the log file you posted...
