Hi, just installed WIN7 32 bit. I got problem with wireless drivers.

HW ID with problems:

- PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_1C3A&SUBSYS_167C103C&REV_04

- PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_1C3A&SUBSYS_167C103C

- PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_1C3A&CC_078000

- PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_1C3A&CC_0780

- USB\VID_03F0&PID_311D&REV_0001

- USB\VID_03F0&PID_311D

I tried many driver packages into your website, but not yet fixed the problem

Thanks for your support

Hi:

None of the ID's you posted are for the wireless card.

I can tell that you have an Atheros wifi card with bluetooth, because the USB\VID_03F0&PID_311D is for the bluetooth radio on the wireless card's circuit board.

So...

You need these drivers for the ID's you posted...

PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_1C3A

This package contains the Intel Chipset Installation Utility for supported notebooks with supported operating systems. This utility enables the operating system to show the correct name for the installed Intel hardware in the Microsoft Windows Device Manager.

http://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp52001-52500/sp52145.exe

USB\VID_03F0&PID_311D

This package contains the driver installation package for the Atheros Bluetooth in the supported notebook models and operating systems.

http://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp52501-53000/sp52803.exe

The wireless...since there is no wireless hardware present in the device manager (or you would be seeing a Network Controller device where you see the smbus controller device), it is possible that the wifi card was turned off by the HP Connection Manager software when you reinstalled windows.

In order for the wireless to work, you have to reinstall the HP Connection Manager software, restart the PC and use the connection manager software to turn on the wifi card.

This package provides the HP Connection Manager for the supportednotebook models and operating systems.

http://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp58501-59000/sp58930.exe

Then if you need to install the driver for the wifi card, you need this one...

This package contains the drivers for the supported Atheros Wireless LAN Adapters in the supported notebook models running a supported operating system.
