Hello. The original Hard drive SSD in my HP 15 I3 intel is broken. I am trying to install a brand new ssd . I booted the laptop with the USB made with windows media downloader and everything goes well up to a point in the process where it does not recognize the SSD , and the BIOS in the laptop neither (or at least I can not find it) and same with DiskPart.
I saw a solution here downloading a chipset in the same USB I prepared, but as my HP is not working, As instructed, I tried to download it in another computer and it is rejected by the non HP computer I use. Is it possible to get this important driver somehow else and then I can load it in my USB? thanks

Thank you very much Paul!!!! I formatt the SSd (again), then I did the procedure indicated by you, after the screen said 80% downloaded and went to the beginning, I turned off the laptop, I UNPLUG the USB, restarted the laptop and ... Voila! Magically it is downloading windows 11 successfully.
Really, HP and Microsoft do not make it easy for the customers.
I can not tell you how much I appreciate your help and guidance. Hope when you are in need, somebody be there for you as you are for us. Thanks

Hi:
If your notebook has an Intel 11th > 13th Gen core processor and you are stuck at the screen where Windows can't find any drives to install on, I have zipped up and attached the Intel storage controller drivers your PC needs below.
Unzip and copy all of the files in the folder in the attachment to a USB flash drive.
Have the flash drive and your Windows installation media plugged into USB ports.
Boot from the Windows installation flash drive.
When you get to the screen where no drives can be found, click on the Load driver option, browse to the flash drive with the storage controller drivers on it.
If you check the box, it will only include the compatible driver.
If Windows still can't find the drive, uncheck the box to include the compatible driver and try any of the ones listed.
Click Next, and Windows should install.

First, Paul, thank you very much for your answer and your time helping me.
I follow the procedure with only the compatibles drivers (three of them appeared) and I am able to identify the ssd (with several partitions I did not know a new ssd has).
The first option is Intel Optane Memory and Storage Managment Extension. "error installing driver"
Second option Intel RST VMD controler 09AB. this downloads without problems and I was able to see the ssd but after 15% of initiating Windows 11 , it stops and takes me back to the Initial setup screen.
Third option, Intel RST VMD Managed Controller 09AB same effect.
Then I tried the non compatible with same results15% and out.
What am I doing wrong?

You're very welcome.
Unfortunately, I don't know what to do about that problem.
If your notebook came with Windows, it should be supported by the HP cloud recovery tool.
Here is an info link for how to use the utility. You will need a 32 GB USB flash drive for this:
HP Consumer PCs - Using the HP Cloud Recovery Tool in Windows 11 and 10 | HP® Support
You can download the software from the Microsoft Store;
HP Cloud Recovery Tool - Free download and install on Windows | Microsoft Store
Since you have to use the tool on another PC, you will have to enter your notebook's product number in the tool's search window in order to proceed.
