HP Pavilion x360 m1-u001dx (ENERGY STAR)
Microsoft Windows 8.1 (64-bit)

X360 keeps booting to recovery startup. I have tried everything to recover; including full recovery. I can't seem to find the recovery windows os software to reinstall. Where and/or how do I find it? Pavilion x360 64bit windows 10. TIA

It worked fine for me.

Isn't it listed in your Windows programs listing?

It should be located there , and then you run it as administrator.

Hi:

Your notebook is supported by the HP cloud recovery tool which you can use to create a bootable USB recovery drive that you can use to reinstall W10, the drivers and the software that originally came with your notebook.

Here is an info link for how to use that utility...you will need a 32 GB USB flash drive to create the recovery media with, and another Windows PC running W7 64 bit or newer.

I went to the link, tried hitting download recovery tool and the screen blinked but never got to any page for download nor did it ask to download

I zipped up and attached the tool below.

Unzip the file and run it.

Hmmm...unzipped, ran as administrator, preparing to install and then nothing??

Tried 2 different machines.
