Hello,
Please, note that heidoc's tool is not an official HP or Microsoft tool and the support may be limited.
I suspect this might be a browser problem or connection problem.
- Can you try from a different computer ?
- Can you make sure you have no 3rd party security apps that might be blocking the tool from communicating to Microsoft servers ?
- Try also to run it in Safe Mode with Networking (this is a special model where only the most essential utilities are drivers are loaded) - this is to prevent conflicts. Click on Start -> type/search for msconfig
and open it
Go to "Boot" tab. Under Boot options, make sure you check and select Safe boot and Network.
Press Apply and OK and restart the PC.
Test.
When ready, revert back to Normal mode by opening msconfig and unchecking "Safe boot" option
Let me know if this works

Hi,
The download process has been interrupted which caused the file to not download 100%.
Delete this one and re-download it.

Hi @Avi4046
Sorry for my delay in the reply to you.
Unfortunately, there is no other way to download Windows 7 (in almost official manner). All other means are to download it from torrent trackers but these might be corrupted, not official and downloading Win 7 this may be illegal... therefore, not recommended. Microsoft only supports Windows 7 ISO images from their websites for the Retail/FPP products, and not for the OEM edition (OEM is the one shipped from OEM PC vendors like HP and they have COA stickers).
I double/triple checked and there is no official HP Recovery media present for your PC as your model is an old one. So, the only way seems to be using Heidoc
Please, try msconfig again but pay attention to select "Safe boot" and also "Network" (not Minimal)

If this does not work, I will check something else.
Let me know if you face difficulties again.

Hi
Thanks for reply. I tried 2 or 3 more time to download. I never got full download some time server error or sometime not full download. I have recovery disk which I made when I bought my device, which is in 4 disk. Will it work for new windows installation. I want to recover only OS, rest I will manage.
Do I need all 4 disk or first one. My disk drive is not working so can I copy disk into a usb drive and try to boot ?

I am not sure if these 4 discs are intact but generally speaking you can use them.
You need to use them all - one by one, starting from the first one.
If your disc drive is not working, you will have to buy some external USB DVD drive device such as this one >> http://store.hp.com/us/en/pdp/hp-usb-external-dvdrw-drive-p-f6v97aa-abl--1
These are sold in any tech store such as Best Buy or similar. This may be an option if your DVDs (the 4 discs) are OK.
What kind of Internet connection you use ? You did try in Safe Mode with Networking ?
No, you cannot copy them into USB - problem is:
- you need your DVD disc drive to be working to be able to read/access/copy the data from the 4 discs to USB or other storage
- and these are 4 images and even though you could copy them into USB or HDD, these will still be 4, there is no way to mix them and merge into 1 working bootable (at least I am not aware of such a method)
I will check for something else and you will get notified by me or someone else. Please, be patient.

Thanks for reply. I use broadband by WiFi modem. In safe mode WiFi don't work. I think in safe mode require lan cable connection for internet. OK I will try in safe mode. Actually I already installed windows 10 which is not proper booted.
