Hi:

Enter your notebook's serial number in the search box at the link below and see if you get a different product number than 446B7AV, which is a general product number that covers many specific models in the 14-Ea1000 model series.

HP PartSurfer

If it does, please post the other product number.

The notebook may be supported by the HP cloud recovery tool which you can use to create a bootable USB recovery drive that will reinstall Windows, the drivers and the software that originally came with your notebook.

Here is an info link for how to use the utility.  You will need a 32 GB USB flash drive for this.

Since you have to use the tool on another PC you need to enter your notebook's product number in the tool's search window in order to proceed to make the recovery media.

I tried 446B7AV#ABH and it indicated not available.  ABH is the country code for The Netherlands, so I think there may be a different product number #ABH.

To boot from a USB flash drive, turn on or restart the PC.

Immediately press/tap the ESC key to get the menu of options, then select the F9 boot options menu and from that, select the EFI flash drive and press the Enter key.  The PC should boot from the flash drive.

If the flash drive is not present in the list of bootable devices, you may need to go into the BIOS and disable secure boot.

You're very welcome.

Your PC is supported by the HP cloud recovery tool.

You can use the HP cloud recovery tool to create a bootable USB recovery drive that will reinstall Windows, the drivers and the software that originally came with the notebook.

Since you have to use another PC to create the bootable recovery media, you will need to enter the notebook's full product number in the tool's search window, which is:  538D2EA#ABH

Thanks for your help . I have downloaded the recovery file . But still it doesn’t show usb on the first page after pressing f9 . I went further to press the enter key  on the “boot from the EFI” which resulted to the last two pages  shown below . I still want able to boot from the usb

The only suggestion I can offer would be to go into the BIOS (ESC then F10), and disable the Secure Boot setting.

Then see if the USB recovery drive shows up on the list of boot options.
