Dear Community,
My laptop is being repaired by HP. I was told I would be able to request a loaner if there is a delay in the repairs. It was expected to be repaired by Dec. 22, 2023; however, as they are unable to get the part, it is now expected to be repaired by Jan 19th.
I am now told that I am unable to request a laptop since I reside in Canada. A loaner only applies to US residents. I would should this only apply to the US?
I need a laptop, can someone please help!
Thank you!

hp worldwide contact https://www.hp.com/us-en/contact-hp/ww-contact-us.html
I notified one of the moderators here but I suspect if the warranty only applies to US then there may be a problem
One can always rent a laptop
If you have important data on the laptop disk drive I recommend you contact the data center and make sure that if they replace the laptop that they use the original drive and not just give you a new or refurbished drive. Sometimes it is cheaper for the repair center to replace the laptop instead of repairing.
