I just purchased the laptop in the subject line and I cannot log into my computer. I have forgotten my password and the USB reset disk will not work either. I have tried rapidly pushing f11, but at the moment that does not seem to work either.
Thank you

Hi,
If you created the account with an email and password, see if you can reset the password via another PC from the Microsoft page on the following link.
https://account.live.com/password/reset
If you have a local account, there's a general policy on the Forum not to provide means of bypassing a Windows log-on password due to security/privacy issues, however a local computer shop would be able to reset this for you.
Alternatively, as long as you have a back-up of your data and programs ( or have nothing you need to back-up ), you can perform a Factory Reset as detailed in the link below - see the sub-heading 'Recovery when Windows 10 does not start correctly' - If you're having trouble accessing Recovery Manager, try the following.
Shutdown the notebook. Tap away at the esc key as you press the power button to enter the Start-up Menu, then select the Recovery Menu option ( f11 ).

Hi,
I just purchased HP 15-ab208nt laptop. I have not used Windows 10 with password before. My old computer was Windows 7. It upgraded to Windows 10 and never asked me password. So I wasn't aware of password reset keys. I created a password and it doesn't work for some reason. I don't have a password reset disk so how can I log in to the windows? Can I create a password reset disk online?
Best Regards,
Tevfik
