Hello everyone,
I followed HP instructions to reset my laptop to manufacturing settings. I couldn't complete the procedure and got the following error message:
Testing Drive: 1
Hard Drive SMART Check: FAILED
FAILURE ID: PUTRVT-840CMF-MFPX6J-60DP03
Hard Drive 1: Primary HDD Bay
Any advice on how to solve this?

Thanks for sharing that. The error you received — SMART Check: FAILED with Failure ID: PUTRVT-840CMF-MFPX6J-60DP03 — confirms that your hard drive is failing or has already failed.
To get the device serviced, do share the pc details in a private message so we can check for the warranty support.
Please help us with your HP unit serial number or the product number in a private message for further assistance.
