HP Mini 110

I have an old HP Mini 110 and wish to recycle it but I can’t seem to restore it to factory settings, which I should do before recycling.  HELP!!!

@kaefte

What do you actually mean by recycling it -- you mean throwing in in the garbage?  OR do you mean turning this over to some recycling company that will refurbish is and then reuse it, give it away, or resell it?

Factory reset does NOT wipe the drive -- despite the misinformation that abounds about this.  All it does is reformat the drive and any reasonable data recovery app can then be used to get nearly everything back from it.

So, if you are really disposing of it, and you can remove the drive, then do that.
