HP Spectre x360 - 13-ae007nd
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Got my HP Spectre x360 for a bit more than 2 years now, and a couple of months after its warranty, the laptop kept rebooting and showing bluescreens. There's no clear patern, and no clear reason why this all of a sudden started to happen. It was quite an expensive laptop, and could be expected to last longer than 2 years on less than average use. I've had 2 expert organizations analyze the problem, and they both suspected it had to do with the motherboard.

After a bit of online research, I find that many customers have been experiencing this problem of the motherboard giving up on them right after the end of warranty (https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Notebook-Hardware-and-Upgrade-Questions/SPECTRE-X360-Motherboard-Recal...). Just as FNIHB (see link), I don't understand why these motherboards are not recalled yet? However, HP seemed to have been able to help him out and solve the problem, but I could find the solution as it was sent in a private message. So I'm shooting my shot here at receiving a solution.
