My HP SPECTRE X360 motherboard burned on me about 3 months after the warranty - $2,000 for this laptop only for this to not work now, literally a useless piece of junk now. And not only that, I have to pay on top of that to get my files. 
 
Now after looking online I am realizing that I am not alone in this issue and that MANY MANY people have had this issue - I don't understand why HP is  not recalling this device, or at the very least standing behind their products and fixing it for me? I've been a loyal HP customer... 
 
Just an update - 7.30.20 HP was amazing, they repaired the laptop for me!  Thank you for the fab customer service
