Your service manual states your model has an M.2 slot that supports SATA SSDs and NVMe.

HP 15 Laptop PC Maintenance and Service Guide

 

NVMe SSDs are far faster than SATA SSD interface. You can use an M.2 NVMe of your preferred capacity, 512 GB, 1 TB or more. You can install something like this.
