Microsoft Windows 11

I asked how to take a screen shot when as my keyboard does not have a 'print screen' key,  I got a response with 5 or 6 different options, none of which worked on my laptop.  I'm still looking for an easy way to do screenshots without having to press 3 buttons simultaneously.  Why can't HP stop fixing things that aren't broken???

Welcome to HP Support Community,

Thank you for posting your query.

Some laptops, especially newer or more compact models, skip the "Print Screen" key to save space or make the keyboard more compact.

Instead of using the traditional "Print Screen" button, you can use shortcuts or built-in tools like Snipping Tool or Snip & Sketch for easy screenshot options.

I hope this helps.

Please feel free to reply here if you have any questions or if you need further clarification.

Take care and have a good day.

This was actually the most reasonable response I got.  I did download "Capture It" and am using it, as necessary.  Then when the lights went out on my keyboard [they're still out], I was told to use FN and a number of other F keys [none of which are on my keyboard, of course].  I accidentally hit FN and shift and the snapshot screen popped up.  I find it amazing no one, no one at HP, no one anywhere, knew this.  SMH.

As a HP employee, I would beseech you to tell HP to stop fixing things which aren't broken.  I read through a litany of common complaints from your product users and don't understand why the company isn't paying more attention to these issues.  Just saying.
