Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

My laptop fell on the ground and now when i try to start he stays whit a black screen so i decided to do done test whit the hardware diagnostics and while testing the hard drive comed up an "short DST:failed" failure id: 9pjmbr-7qw939-xd7wmg-60sa03 hope i can get some help, thank you.

It failed the short test.

 

My suggestion is to buy a new Hard Disk.  The old disk may still be read only for data extraction.

 

A Repair/Rebuild/Restore/Re-install DVD/USB can be made by using a .iso from MS...


ISO images of various Microsoft OS's are available.

They can be be downloaded (sometimes you need a licence key other than the HP OEM key)
and 'burnt'/expanded to a DVD/USB. They WONT contain appropriate HP software, like drivers etc.
But may enable a repair to be started.
