I have purchased the PC with serial number SN#[edited]and product id 7H9Y3UA#ABA
In October 2024 imported from Dubai which shows the waranty expired in 2023. I am facing the slow working of PC issue since the start. Recently I contacted with nearby service centre where I get to know that the hardware is the main issue which needs to be replaced. But the service is not available in India. I want it to be resolved.

Hi @Sadwika9605,
Welcome to the HP Support Community!
Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding a slow HP PC!
We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.
Try these steps:
Restart Your PC:
- Sometimes, a simple restart can resolve minor performance issues.
Update Your Software:
- Ensure your Windows operating system and all drivers (especially graphics and storage drivers) are up to date.
Check for Malware:
- Run a full system scan using Windows Defender or a third-party antivirus tool to make sure your PC is free of malware or viruses.
Manage Startup Programs:
- Disable unnecessary startup programs to free up system resources. You can do this by navigating to the Task Manager (Ctrl + Shift + Esc) and selecting the Startup tab.
Free Up Disk Space:
- Use tools like Disk Cleanup or third-party software to delete unnecessary files or applications.
Add More RAM:
- If your PC supports it, adding more RAM can significantly improve performance.
Check System Resource Usage:
- Use the Task Manager (Ctrl + Shift + Esc) to see if any application is using excessive CPU, Memory, or Disk resources.
Adjust Power Settings:
- Ensure your power plan is set to High Performance, which can help speed things up, especially on laptops.
Consider SSD Upgrade:
- If your HP PC uses a traditional hard disk drive, upgrading to an SSD can greatly boost performance.
Clean the Hardware:
- Dust in the PC's vents and fans can cause overheating, slowing down performance. Use compressed air to clean the internals if possible.
I hope this helps.
