Spectre Fresh win10 install issues

Hi,

Have done a fresh install of windows 10 on the above laptop and the initial install goes through copying the files etc without a problem but on the first reboot you get the hp logo and the spinning white dots which then freeze and nothing happens.

The install is being done via usb pen and the media created using the microsoft windows 10 media tool. I have also tried adding in the latest drivers for the above laptop and the same result. so at the minute i have an expensive brick.

Anyone any ideas ?

How long do you alow it to "freeze" ?

Same problem as everyone else for a very long time in this topic:

Only chance to go back to 1803 and wait, til HP solve this problem.

it just sits there and does nothing. you can leave it for ever ... well until battery dies 🙂

Mhhm, i don't know. But on this site, you will find it. Looks a bit suspicious, but it's clean. Got it from the serious german site deskmodder.de. Maybe someone has a better link.
