Hello, please tell me whether it is possible to put the start button on windows 8. When I bought the laptop was already this button in the form of a shell.

In their misbegotten belief that EVERYONE had switched over to touch screens in Win8 (when, in fact, almost NO ONE had!), MS decided to completely remove the start menu from Windows 8!

Stardock, a small start-up, then made MILLIONS of dollars selling Start8 at $5 a copy.  You can still get Start8 from them -- but it is not free.

Other options are StartIsBack, and Open Shell. The first costs money; the second is free.
