Hello,
I have an HP K12 PB430G7 Cel5205U 13 8GB/128 PC, there is a constant Sure Start Recovery error screen. I tried to upgrade the BIOS, but no success. Here https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/ish_9428115-9416529-16 I read that the system board needs to be replaced. What is the replacement procedure?
Thanks in advance!

Hi @Alexander150,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

I understand that your HP K12 PB430G7 Cel5205U 13 8GB/128 PC is continuously showing the HP Sure Start Recovery error, and that you already attempted a BIOS update without success.

HP does have current support information for the PB430G7 family showing Sure Start-related issues, so I would not recommend attempting repeated BIOS recovery or replacing the system board yourself.

Regarding the system-board replacement
If the HP troubleshooting document you referenced has determined that the system board requires replacement, this is a hardware repair that should be performed by HP or an HP Authorized Service Provider. The correct replacement part and procedure can depend on the exact product number and configuration.

If the notebook is still under HP warranty:
Please contact an HP Authorized Service Center in the region where the product was purchased. They can verify the warranty and arrange the appropriate repair. HP provides an authorized service-center locator for this purpose.

If the notebook is out of warranty:
The repair would normally be a chargeable service, and I recommend contacting the HP Authorized Service Center in your region for the diagnosis, quotation, and system-board replacement. HP also recommends using authorized repair facilities for hardware repairs.

Before arranging the repair, you can check the current warranty status using HP's official warranty checker.

I would not recommend opening the notebook or attempting the system-board replacement yourself, particularly when the Sure Start error is persistent. An authorized technician can confirm the failure and replace the board using the correct HP part for your exact configuration.
