Product: Pavilion 5CD6502JWS
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I was recently checking on whether I needed HP System Event Utility and noticed that it should be between 1,3 and 1.6GB in size. On checking mine it was showing as 21.7GB, does anybody know why?  Thamks.

Latest HP system event utility download available in HP support page is 18MB:
https://support.hp.com/in-en/drivers/selfservice/swdetails/hp-pavilion-15-aw000-notebook-pc-series/1...

Different versions have different sizes. This is not going to be an issue.

I do not believe it to be 21.7"GB" though.

It works!!!! It fixed the Brightness hotkeys not working!
