Just turned on a computer that has not been used in quite a while. It immediately asked for a password upon startup. Not a Windows password exclamation point I have tried pressing both escaped and at 11 upon powering on but neither one works. I have taken several attempts at the password and after three failed attempts it says "system disabled 04529" can anyone help me with this?

Hello @Roelle218,

This seems like HEX Codes and there are no code generators !!

However you may try

iwopkx ( 3rd one o as in oscar and not zero)

Or

xfgqwd

If the above passwords doesnt work then you will have to Contact HP Technical Support over the Phone for further assistance.

When talking to the HP rep ask them to escalate your service request.

Hope this helps, for any further queries reply to the post and feel free to join us again !!
