I am wondering, is it okay to use laptop in thunder and lightning circumstances?

Can they affect mother board and graphic card to burn or melt even never got struck by them?

I mean wave through electricity.

 

please help me.

Hi,

There should be no problem as there will be protection on the building and even the electric system. However, you can use on battery during lightning storms if you feel you need to be extra careful.
