HP Pavilion Notebook
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Windows 10 installation was successful by rejecting the TPM  error with F2 in March, 2020. Please find screen shot of error message.

Product Name: HP Pavilion Notebook

Product Number: T0E02UAR#ABA

Laptop is working fine, but slow. Hard Drive Diagnostic test also failed. Here is the attached report. Today installed Windows 10 from Recovery partition once again and found the same TPM error. Today also I rejected the error with F2.

Please advice what should be done to get rid of this error.

Thanks!

Hello @KoushikDas

Welcome !

I am unable to see your attached pictures (yet) but you mention that the hard disk drive test failed. If the test failed with results: FAILED or NOT INSTALLED, this means your hard disk drive is corrupted. This is a hardware failure and your disk needs to be replaced. Your computer will be slow until it fails to work/load at all unless you replace it. Your data is also at risk because of this.

Check this TKB article we have here in the Community and follow the steps >> https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Notebooks-Knowledge-Base/Storage-Hard-Disk-Drive-corruption-and-replac...

After updating HP support Assistant as I run the Hardware Diagnostic test it fails. So I ran Quick/Extensive Test from BIOs following the below link.

https://support.hp.com/in-en/document/c01443502

In both cases, It failed. I have not yet cleared the TPM cache. Is it related to TPM error which I ignored during Windows installation from recovery partition as mentioned in my 1st message.

Please find screenshot of the error message and advice.

Hello,

You may clear the TPM cache if you do not use Bitlocker drive encryption but this is not the biggest issue. Your main problem is with the hard disk drive which needs to be replaced. Please, follow the previous advice and replace.
