Goodmorning everyone,
from some days, when I turn on the PC, I no longer find the Thunderbird icon in the system tray (bottom left).
I recreate the link of the Thunderbird.exe file and resume the work. I turn off the PC, turn it back on and again the Thunderbird icon is gone.
It only happens with the Thunderbird icon.  Same problem with my son PC.
Both mine and my child's PC is an HP PC.
Can anyone give me an explanation and a suggestion to solve the problem?

Thank you

The icon in the system tray is a shorcut that is USUALLY created when you install an app.  The fact that it is disappearing implies that there is a setting for Thunderbird that enables/disables this -- and when you add the shortcut yourself, the app then looks at that setting and removes it.

We have no way of knowing how they have programmed this -- so you would have to hunt down their support site to ask them how to make the shortcut persistant.

Good Luck
